  • Last Week in October?

We're headed down for the last week in October. We've never been down this late in the year, but we wanted to go to the Seawitch Festival in Rehoboth. What's open in OC this late in the year?

There are TONS of activities the last weekend of October.
      Seaside 10 Mile/5 K race
Autumn Home and Condo Show at the Convention Center
O.C.toberfest Beach Maze on the beach
Shore Craft Beer Fest at Sunset Park
O.C.toberfest Great Pumpkin Race (a LOT of fun watching this)
Halloween Spook Out Party at Northside Park

You can go to Assateague Park to see the horses, or visit Berlin and the great shops there, or even go to the Casino or watch the horse races.

Plus the Life Saving Station Museum will be open. There will still be lots of restaurants and bars all over town open, Thrasher's and Fisher's will be open, Marty's Playland Arcade and Trimper's indoor rides will be open too. Seacrets will be open along with many of the more popular places in town.
For a full list and information on any of the activities I mentioned go to

That's a nice time to go to OCMD. Quieter. More easy going. Cheaper! And it's amazing how many places are still open. It's no longer a shore town that folds up & goes to sleep from then 'til Memorial Day.

Plenty of going on around that time. If the weather is nice, there will be a fair amount of people in town and a good amount of the boardwalk shops will be open during the day.

I like going in the Fall. It's my favorite time of year to go.

Great! Getting very excited to go. We just got tickets to Octoberfest at Sunset Park. And really happy that some boardwalk shops will be open. We love the "off season". We spend a week in April and love every second of it. Thanks for the replies!
