      Re: unknown hotel

The Comfort Inn is not the hotel I'm talking about. It's on the otherside of the Kite Loft.

I've stayed at the Comfort Inn on 5th st. it was great.

        Re: unknown hotel

Adlofo's is located right across the street from the inlet rides for another couple of days. Then it is moving into Bombora's old location inside the Beach Plaza Hotel on 13th St.

                        Re: unknown hotel

Adolfo's is taking a big risk moving to the boardwalk in my mind. With Flavors viewed as the tourist Italian rest., and Davinci's as the authentic, I wonder if the new location will tarnish or improve their image. I know they have a loyal following, and the location on 13th is much newer inside. We will have to see. What do you all think?

                          Re: unknown hotel

i never ate at Adolfo's but my parents did a few years back. They said it was terrible and they would never go back. But it seems that so many people like it. I wish I went with them to see what they experienced. Maybe I'll convince mom to try it at the new location.

I've always liked Adolfo's. It's reasonably priced and anything with his own marinara sauce has been a winner for me. They also have a good house dressing and garlic bread. I've tended to go more in the off season than in the summer season because of the inlet traffic. I think that they'll get much more visibilty being in a prime location on the Boardwalk, but I wonder what the difference in the rent is going to be. They'll definitely have more seating than the old house had. In addition they claim that they are going to remain open in the off season, during which they have been doing a lot of locals business, but that hotel has been shutting down on October 1 the past 2 years, so it will be interesting to see how that works out. I think that they'll do well if the rent doesn't kill them.
